REGISTRATION FOR MARIN FC U15-U18 TEAMS - MAY 7TH
Registration Dates and Locations
Player commitments to their respective MFC teams are required by Wednesday, May 7. A walk-in registration for all U15-U18 players will be held on Wednesday, May 7 from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Mill Valley Community Center upstairs in the Mountain View Room. Girl’s registration will be from 7:00-8:00 PM, and the boy’s registration from 8:00-9:00 PM.
At the meeting, a parent for each player will need to complete a CYSA and US Club Player registration form, and write a check for $425 to cover registration fees. In addition, please bring 2 small player photos (head & shoulders only), and if you are new to the club a copy of the player’s birth certificate.

MARIN FC 91 U17 BOYS WIN SURF COLLEGE SHOWCASE TOURNAMENT
FORMER HIGH SCHOOL ADVERSARIES TEAM TOGETHER
The high school soccer season ended two weeks ago, allowing former Marin adversaries to team together once again. The Marin FC 91 U17 boys won the prestigious Surf College Showcase tournament in San Diego over Thanksgiving weekend. With a record of 3 wins and 2 ties, the team defeated South Bay SC (Cal South) 2-0, tied Westside Metro (Oregon) 1-1, tied Real Las Vegas FC (Nevada) 0-0, beat Sparta United (Utah) 3-0 in the semi-finals and beat Eastside FC (Washington) 2-1 in the finals. The defense, which allowed only 2 goals in five games was anchored by high school rivals Brett Finkelstein (Marin Academy) and Nate Parish in the goal, Ted Helfrich (Marin Catholic), Ricky Martin, Tom Stuhlbarg (Redwood), Sam Del Gobbo (Terra Linda) and Aleks Altberg. Midfielders Kyle Johanson (Marin Academy), Vini Enriquez (San Marin), Randy Folgar (Terra Linda) and Christian Cortes and forwards Sean Sears (Marin Academy), Eric Anderson, Charlie Vaquero (Novato), Dylan Murphy, and Aki Gormezano (Marin Academy) led the attack.
